I've actually got a few other projects on the go at the moment
but SPVman may well get looked at again - though more for sound stuff than for it's speed (not had many compaints about it's speed) - we'll see, maybe I'll add a turbo mode

this easily beats all of the other games i have now - including doom
is there any chance of seeing some of the other atari/arcade classics like centipede, defender, robotron & joust etc?

Is it ported from another space invaders or even the original code or did you write it from scratch. :?:
:idea: One small comment, I thought is was running a tiny bit fast so I compared it to my MAME version. Speed is a tiny bit faster, maybe 5%, but the reason is seemed faster is that although there are the correct number of invaders they take up slightly too much screen width and hence turn round (and down) quicker than real space invaders.
