PS: Now, CAB files are not always handled correctly either. They sometimes doenload as a webpage with gibberish

I've not tried it yet, but I just looked at the xml, and noticed the app name is "Madu izip"

Unfortunately that is impossible on small scale of tweaking, that is each file type that we want to be downloadable needs to be registered with PocketIE, so unless they do not change how IE handles files we can only implement this tweak per file.
If you come up with more filetypes that you want IE to handle I will look into that. Untill then enjoy leeching zip's.

PS: Quite often due to server configuration the files just open up as a webpage (even with CABs and other formats)

So you can just click on a zip in SE and it will work right?
