Hello All,
I love HTC Dialer and missed it a lot on my Omnia 2. Tried several dialer's but none worked so I decided I'll make a cab myself, so here its !!
And guess what.... It does not require manila to be installed

1) Fixed font issue
2) Un-Installable
3) Save to Contact works

6.5.3 beta: Tested on 6.5.3 23133
I couldn't just rest until i could get a 6.5.3 version of the dialer!! After falshing my device for almost 25 times, here it is... it may have issues so here's a beta version:

Steps to install:
1) Kill cprog.exe using "FDC TaskMgr"
2) Install Beta_PhoneCanvas_6.5.3.cab

The button "Keypad" is too dark cant see the wording. Next picture is Conference call mode



Of course Video call doesnt work

Try disabling the phone canvas first from:
1) HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin : Enabled = 0
2) Restart the phone
3) Uninstall it... hope it works

Just tried this and it still dosen't uninstall, looks like I'll have to hard reset still nice job getting it to work on non sense roms.

as a cook it is normal to hardreset your phone couple of times a day

Godbless you, this is what I searched for two weeks.

WOOOOOOOOORKS FOR ME!

But it have some bugs!

1- the caller id is not working correctly.
2- When you dial somebody it shows the first dial you dialed before!
3- it only save the numbers on phone not on the sim.
4- it is not uninstallable.

I just wanted to say that your dialer is good, glad to see from your first post that you have fixed the uninstall bug, nice one.

I've found another small bug though, when you receive a call I don't get a photo displayed from my photo contacts ? I only get the photo once I have answered the call

All in all though nice work well done

wow thank you so much now it looks better, the wording are bigger and clearer except due to thicker task bar on WM6.5.5, the soft key in the middle of the bottom taskbar with "keypad logo" appears out of proportion in WM6.5 (which has thinner bottom taskbar) otherwise it's all good and If you can make the video call works then it will be an epic success.

Which version of windows are you using? 6.5? also mention the minor version...

i have had same issue, i cooked your dialer in my personal ROM based on JG2 (hope you dont mind). if you could fix this problem, it'll be great!
