Edit: my idea is create pure fully working ROM without any Samsung balast. Now testing apps need for correct work.

First test: Eng Rom. Rom 2 in 1 . Rom without samsung apps. All apps in two archive. If need any samsung apps only extract archive to my storrage or my device or storage card. Samsung setting working in my storrage .
Net accounts need store manualy.
Rom cca 380mb free in my device, 105MB after reboot, 92Mb with SPB(not in ROM) pagepool 8 or 10Mb :-)

Hello sh.a.rk. :) You mean pure ROM without Samsung stuff. But I suppose you can't thing Touch Player and Settings? These programs are indelible, aren't they?

I think it is a ROM with only the OEM drivers and without oem apps at all what he meant... but by doing this you won't be able to do some changes that require samsung stuff... like changing from activesync to mass storage and other things that require Samsung Settings...

I think what he did was just a trial to see how'd it go :D

(just guessing :))

yep. it's a ripped os. no samsung settings, wich means about 25% of the phone won't be usable.it will fly, but what's the use if it doesn't work properly?
:) anyway, it's a good idea. I just wanna know how far can it go with the stripping. No other apps, just wm and samsung drivers and settings:P.

The top figure of 151.26MB of program ram, is that the figure in the stock JG4 rom or is this figure larger because it's been stripped ?

Never mind I just checked the JG4 thread and got my answer lol

the phonebook is ok...
but the sms is rubbish, if there is more than 500 sms in one person,
when i open that person sms/send sms, it takes a long time,
it would not happen in wm sms....

I also don't like SMS application from Samsung. If I can compare it with WM SMS, its very slow.

However I am very curious about sh.a.rk´s ROM. :)
