HI does anybody have idea why Samsung mobile SDK 2.2 is only partially supporting Omni Pro. For instance light and proximity sensors are not supported. Because of that TouchlockPro is working with limited capabilities.
Any workaround?

Second topic is why KIES does not support Omnia PRO. Does Samsung wants to forget Omni Pro ?

Thank you for ideas and help

Hi thats a question i wondered 2 so i wrote an email via the samsung app dev program, here's the answer i got:

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Samsung Apps. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

First of all I would sincerely like to thank you for your comment concerning Sasmung phones. We really appreciate it.

I would like to apologize that you are not yet able to use Samsung Apps on your Omnia B7610. For some technical reasons, this phone is not compatible yet. Samsung Apps is a recent service. For its launch, only 2 models were supported in UK. Now there are 3, and much more in the near future. I sincerely apologize that the launch of new supported models is not faster, but technical and agreement reasons don't allow us to be faster.

However I would like to inform you that, waiting for the compatibility of your phone with Samsung Apps, you can download content on our website www.samsungmobile.nl or directly on your phone : wap.samsungmobile.nl . You can download a lot of contents in order to evolve your phone and to satisfy you. Do not hesitate to visit our website which will certainly contains what you expect. "

So here's the answer ppl! :) They will update compatibility for more phones:)
