Hi all experts,
I just send in my Omnia 2 for 6.5 upgrade.
I have a few issues which i need help...

1) Incoming message notification. How to disable the incoming message notification?
2) Message Send Notification. After send message, there is this icon showing "sending1/1 message". How to disable this?
3) Time at Taskbar. I want the time at the taskbar at all time but when i went to Winmo setting and set the time appear in all prog at taskbar, the battery indicator is gone. Can i have time and battery appear in all prog?
4) Easy access to address book when send message. Currently when need to send a new message, I have to either manually type in the number or search through phonebook, call log, recent log. I remember previous version i need not to, can type in the a few letter of the name and i can search. BTW, im not using threaded sms.

Thanks in advance for the help.

3) I use 'BattClock' which is a great little application for WinMo devices, I use it on my O2 WM6.5 no worries.

2) You can disable this with registry hacks, search around. I haven't found a way to do this without disabling the Samsung Messaging Theme, good luck!

1) No idea what you're talking about

<<What i mean is whenever there is a incoming message, the SMS will appear in a box on the bottom left corner, sort of a preview>>

1) I disabled this, but I don't know how. In all my tweaking one day I just noticed it had turned off.

I disabled threaded SMS as soon as I got this phone. One of the worst features in phones these days.

Weird. Why dont people like threaded SMSing? Isnt this where all txts from one person stay lumped together instead of just a chronological list? Or am I misunderstanding this?

I LOVED when my 6.1 upgrade on i760 gave me that featured.

Try this for 1)

Go to start > settings > sound settings > notification sound > new text message and uncheck "display message on screen." If you have SPB mobile shell you can get to this also by clicking on Launcher > Settings > Sounds & Notifications > choose "Notifications" tab on bottom > in the Event drop down box choose "Messaging: New text message" > uncheck the "display message on screen" box.

I think this may do the trick.
