Just wondering if anybody has been able to get cookies to work with either the beta of Opera Mobile 10 or the beta of Opera Mini 5. Even with cookies enabled neither of these let me log into a forum site such as Modaco or XDA. Seem to be able to log into facebook okay (most of the time <_< ) but have trouble with other sites such as flcker.

I mainly use 6.5.3 ROMs (Ocks lately) so not sure if that is an issue.

Have never been able to get programs like Microsofts facebook app to connect to the internet either and not sure if that is related. I have found that my data connection is "my internet" not "the internet" (is this carrier related or ROM related?) and wonder if this has something to do with it also.

Any assistance or comments welcome.

Hmmm - sounds like it might be somthing to do with the carrier (Virgin Oz) then. Cannot remember but pretty sure that with my previous carrier (vodafone) my internet connection was called "the internet" although I cannot see what difference this makes.

So, nobody else is having problems logging into forums or with cookies generally?

Actually, I've been having a fair few issues - cookies don't seem to 'stick', I have to log in multiple times to get into forums, then it'll log me out again when I go to reply to a topic. It annoyingly won't let me edit the search field in Google either, and just refreshes the existing search - I have to change the URL manually, or type it into the regular Opera Google box rather than the box on the search page.

Opera Mini is installed to My Storage rather than device memory, also - this may have something to do with it.
