Just trying to help out the rom experts so i took blth models apart and took pics...just msg me with your email and ill send them.... the one im attatching isnt the only one...i took many detailed pics... this is just to show what i have...

Do you have closeup picture of the 256MB ram module? =D

Wonder whether it is possible to replace the ram module with something larger (512mb?)

Could you please let us know what the part numbers are of the memory chip near the sim slot and memory card slot on the smaller board.

I want to ask something. Where is the GPS antenna ? Lots of i8000 owners complaint about poor gps reception.
I remember one fix for diamond. After putting Mugen Extended battery to HTC Diamond, gps reception was lost. One smart man fixed it with an aluminum foil fixed with scotch tape.

sorry to all that i havent replied sooner but i wasnt being notified of the replies.... my bad...so ill answer in order..

1. navin... yes it is cool and yes i took $1000 worth of phones apart just to take pictures..lol i do this for a living so im not half bad at it...

2. daij.... i have big pics of whatever you need.....pvt msg me with your email and ill send...

3. xeno... yes i do...msg me with your email...

4. yr...yes ive been to samsung tech...been a tech for 18 yrs now....

5. pij...just msg me with your email and ill send you pics

6. asus... wasnt meant to be a dis assembly thing, i took one apart a week after they hit the streets so ive had that beat for a while now...... i just wanted to provide pics to the rom people to show them the difference between the 2 main models and their boards... and to answer the question its in the bottom/mic assy
