Oke i'm thinking of customising a rom for my own (and others on this forum), but i was wondering why aren't we using i8000 roms for customising.

If i take a look at al the roms over there, it would be a shame to not use there roms for our device.

So people (rom developers) please tell us what the difference is between the i8000 and the B7610.

The only thing i'm reading about is the keyboard driver (is there a cab file for?) so why aren't we using those roms already.

Maybe somebody could give us a solution for this!

What does happen if we use a i8000 ROM for our b7610? Is it even possible? Someone tried already?

not so simple guys...there are differences in drivers which have to be cooked in the rom impossible to install after a cab...even apps from Samsung in some cases are different...
if you try flash an i8000 rom there is a possibility you brick your phone not completely sure anyway...at your own risk...
