I LOVE SPB Mobile Shell, but I haven't used it for five months because I got tired of resetting EVERYTHING every time I flashed to a new ROM. Is there a way to back up widget settings and whatnot for SPBMS so that it can be done automatically after a flash?

Go into Settings>SPB Mobile Shell>Then hit the bottom right button and theres options to save your layout and restore.

trying to figure out the best way to compensate for the lack of sensitivity on the omnia by finding the most finger friendly ui that makes it as easy as possible to navigate through the phone

most of them are on this video: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=oATKrY4nf-U

haha you're off WAD already? Im using M2D now with some awesome themes (let me know if you want screen pics) and I still like WAD but it takes a long time to design and get right.

WAD and M2D2 look the coolest so far...I had SPB for a while but not enough "cool" for me tiny icons and no flashy animations boo lol

Post some pics of what youre using now.

Cheers!

MS 3.5 has got to be the best original app out there now. I do like M2D, but it is hardly as customizable as MS 3.5. Anyway, my only problem with MS is that the graphics look a bit too cartoony, and it is also to gimmicky. It could also use a bit more color - at least on the lifestyle screen. By far the biggest problem I see with it is that it uses too much battery life. I've run my PDA both with and without it and the difference is quite noticeable to me. These are just my own personal observations; otherwise it is great and functional UI.

I am using SPB Mobile Shell at the moment, but I am missing the "Video Call" when it shows the favorite contact.I only see Send SMS, Send MMS, A big call button and 2 empty buttons. Where is the video call?

Besides their awesome looks, it's tremendously fast and easy on the fingers .. you could have a professional view with altogether 10 pages of your own links. Enough to brag about that's for sure! :)

Tried them all, .. most were nothing more than laggy and a power-drain .. md2d is the second best in my opinion, cos it's very stable and direct!

Ugly, no real design concept and way too expensive for such a product.

I'm in love with the simplicity of Infinity. Hope the next versions are going to be good additions :)
