Depend on build from MS, I can't and it's related by many files.

I see, but most of the files are the OS and not samsung's right?

Hi there,

I am new to this cooked ROMs and would love to give this one a try.

Right now I'm on secany's IL5 release. I flashed mine with all the parts from the latest release. So, to use yours is it better if I flash everything released by you? Cause I saw the file names and some are the same name as secany's though I'm not sure whether they are the same files or not.

Also there are 2 files under CSC so it's OK if I only download the one labelled "NEW"?

Thanks.

Thanks for the ROM, installed it and it seems to be stable and fast enough. However I can't find option to autosetup network settings (i.e. GPRS, MMS etc.) for my carrier (DIGI - Malaysia), any help would be great coz I can't connect to edge/3g or mms etc. Thanks and keep up the good work!

the email is the same.

for txt i use WM as i find it faster plus you can skin it to make it look like samsungs.

as for calander and clock you can change the link in the registry. i posted it before but not sure where the link is. if you search for posts my me it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Hi everybody. First of all I have to say the ROM is really AMAZING, it goes very smooth, and is very good looking. Sonblack you did it bro!... I was looking for a ROM like this for a long time. I was testing secany's ROMs. He cooks good ROMs too.

Now, I have some questions.

1) Windows live is missing in the ROM. Why? as microsoft marketplace too.

2) Titanium weather widget can't be uninstalled. It is set in Asia by default and I can't set it to work on South America.

3) As the ROM is in english, I really prefer english ROMs, but for SMS I need to write in spanish. The XT9 samsung keyboard is not working. When I choose the 12 keys keypad, it almost laught at me jejejejejejejejeje...

4) Oh, I almost forget, why does the ROM still have some samsung's skins, like the SMS's? ok, I know it can be disabled by editing the registry, but why to keep it if you almost cooked the whole ROM?

Well, if somebody can give me a hand about the XT9 issue, I would really appreciate it. As i said, i preffer WWE ROMS, but for SMS I need the spanish keyboard. The point is, Can it be downloaded in somewhere?

Thanks a lot. And Sonblack, HIP HIP URRAYYYY for you :)

Update.: After writing the post above, I tried to change the phonebook.lnk by editing the registry. On the 6.5 version I edited this entry "HKCU/Software/Microsoft/today/keys/133" and used this direction "/windows/start menu/programs/contacts.lnk". It used to work on the 6.5 versión, but in 6.5.3, it doesn't work, as "contacts.lnk" does not exist in windows directory. Any sugestion?.

Update II: OK, I give up. I tried to read something about cooking ROMS and I realiced that it is almost like assambling a nuclear bomb :) ... it is dangerous, it needs too much work and knowledge, and it is for smart people (I am not one of those :) ), ey I felt like some kind of Homer Simpson while working in the nuclear plant... "OUCH!!!!... DUUUHH!!!! ARRRRGGGGG DOONUUUUTS...", so making a ".lnk" file is almost impossible for someone who doesn't know anything about programing. Even to program my watch is nightmare for me jejejejejeje... no, no, no, I'm serious, I would like to fix the XT9 and phonebook issues. By now, i will have to stay flashing cooked ROMS jejejejejejejejeje... Sonblack's is very nice, one of the bests i've seen. I tried Kstan 6.5.3 ROM, bit this one (Sonblack's) is better.
