Maybe you should check your USB cable as well, is it a hotsync cable? I've had troubles syncing using the wrong cable.

If you are using Vista try the method explained in pictures

Be sure to go to windows mobile device center-->connection setting and remove all the check boxes as in photo

do this settings before connecting your phone to the computer
also the normal vista driver that came with the original CD of the phone will work no need to use samsung modem driver for XP
At least it work for mineFor more information about using grand prix search in modaco

Thanks sir I'll tell the technician to try this one before repairing the PCB Board... My phone is now in the repair shop... It will cost 100 USD to repair it... So expensive ;)

The pc cannot detect the i900 omnia and there's only the "Samsung Omnia" logo? Maybe you have a broken eboot like mine... And luckily... Someone had revived my omnia... He's from the Philippines with Samsung Omnia Repair tool...

He's in Caloocan City in Metro Manila. It depends on the version of your i900 and the repair to be done. In my case, it is a new version of i900 so it costs Php 5000.

Sir maybe you don't have a broken eboot. The samsung omnia repair tool is for broken eboot. The one he did for your phone is not boot repair but only software repair. The cheapest boot repair is by elco of Romania. It costs 30 euros.

Total 1 PDA region(s) will be written .
PHONE will be written.
Don't plug it out until the label becomes blue!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) FlashImage : success!!
(1) Re-Boot device and Close USB port
(1) Wait for Re-Connecting Device.
(1) Wait for Re-Connecting Device.
(1) Wait for Re-Connecting Device.
(1) Device is Re-Connected.
(1) Re-Init. Success.
(1) FlashImage : success!!
(1) file handle (3b794c)
(1) FlashImage.PDA : success!!
(1) DownloadImagePDA.PDA : success

i manage to repair my omnia while stuck on samsung omnia screen tru grandprix . the key is if your computer is able to recognize ur phone or if you hear a sound when you connect your pc to your phone then it can be repaired by grandprix .
but if you see blank screen or monahans when u power on your phone . then it is a boot problem that is much harder to fix .
its not true that here in the philippines only 2 person is able to repair that and 5000 pesos is way too expensive . here in the philippines you can bring your phone with broken eboot at samsung main service center located in front of greenhills ortigas side . name of the building bonaventure . their charge is only P1100 . as of feb 2010 other samsung service center in phils dont do eboot repair yet .only their main branch in greenhills so far . i hope this helps

i've been doing JTAG before on my XDA flame so whenever i got it bricked, i'll just solder in the JTAG

all i need are diagrams and the software part, anyone here who has them?

although i haven't bricked my phone YET (im not flashing and im stuck with the default ROM LOL)

its better be safe than spend alot,
