it would seem though that Rodrigo is concentrating his efforts on his beta2 Leo ROM for the time being, so we may be waiting a while before another UltraLite comes along... :D

Not a biggie for me though, as much as I would appreciate a new UltraLite ROM for my O2, my time is concentrated on my new Android device. You would not believe what you can do to that thing!!!!

You mean to this ROM? Touch Player works fine, I actually dont have to convert the videos, i just dump them straight to the device. maybe the videos you are trying to play in Touch Player are above the resolution capabilities (720x480).

As for the HTC Album I dont use that so I cant comment on that.

He's not going to make new ultra lite ROM. The LEO2 beta2 fusion ROM is his last contribution to us as he sold his O2 already. He bought a HD2.
You can browse through the LEO2 Beta2 ROm thread for more information.

I'm glad I jumped ship when I did, Rodrigo's UltraLite ROMs were the only ROMs that really fit my needs (not to put down any other chefs), I'm sure the others are great too, but I suppose it's a matter of preference and what meets your day-to-day usage needs, and as I said his ROMs worked the best for me. Now that he has stopped development on this, then I would more or less have been stuck with what I had.

charging image is stored in CSC part... so if you erase CSC, the main boot program doesnt find image and just displays that ugly text.. but its safe...
To flash a rom with Octans flasher, you first have to select ROM, click 'DETECT' button in Octans, and HERE you have to make your PC detect the phone as OFF by usb... so you can either: plug it to usb, when already OFF..., or turn it off, while it was already plugged...

If it was plugged AND off, and you click DETECT, the flasher won't let you update ROM... the flasher needs to get the 'notification' of a new device attached ( but, omnia2 has 'two' usb devices for the pc: one when it is on (> activesync) and another when it is off.. thats the device whose driver octans uses to flash a ROM image...

The fact of erasing CSC has nothing to do to the flashing process.

Intento flasear una nueva rom, cargo el octans, le doy a DETECT Y CONECTO EL TELEFONO APAGADO al usb y lo que me aparece es lo siguiente:
WinUsb_Initialize
WinUsb_QueryInterfaceSetting Error1
WinUsb_QueryPipe Error1

?Que es lo que hago mal?.

Gracias por la ayuda
