Yesterday we saw news break that HTC's Touch FLO 3D had been ported to work on the Samsung Omnia II, and now today Herg, a well known developer over at xda-developers has managed to successfully port Sony's X1 Panels to run well on a HTC Touch Pro2.

Check out Herg's corner for more info, and all the available panels.

Is this any different from the other port on Modaco, which I have been using for a while on my touch pro2? If not, then is credit due to Paul @ Modaco: http://www.modaco.com/content/blackstone-b...h-hd-installer/

With my version, I have downloaded the SPB mobile shell panel, which works fully: http://www.sonyericsson.com/fun/#ts=125733...contentItemId=0

I have also downloaded Pointui's panel as well, which works (with some limitations without paying for the pro version): http://downloads.pointui.com/public/home2/....Pro.Latest.cab

I assigned holding my call button to launch the panels, which works well and the fish panel acts as a nice screen saver when docked/syncing at work!
