Hi, anyone know of an audio routing program that will work in i8000? I've tried AudioRoute, AudioSwitch, TROCA2 etc. and none of it works on the i8000.

I just want to be able to Skype via the earpiece rather than on speakphone where everyone can hear. I don't have this problem with i900 as the good thing about i900 is the speaker and earpiece is the same location, I just need to turn down the volume and I can skype like on a normal phone call.

ok, I'm answering my own questions.... I found the solution, and no need for any software!

Just dial *#0002*28346#, you'll enter the engineering mode. Choose in menu to SetForce audio path to "Voice Receiver", thereafter all speaker sounds goes to the earpiece. When you're done, go back to the menu and release the force audio mode and all sounds go back to speakers.

Working wonderfully for Skype! No longer a need for me to put on the headphone whenever I Skype with the i8000! I can just talk like in a normal phone call!

it will be better if someone makes a CAB file to enable and disable redirecting sound to earpiece

Have I missed something? Where do you go to "SetForce" cannot see it anywhere in the engineering mode, all I see is dB levels for every option?

You pressed the left soft button named 'Gain', try the right soft button 'Menu', you'll see the 'SetForce audio path' there.

Hi all, I found this software www.earpiece-routing.com It's supposed to work on Samsung Omnia II and can be attached to skype to route audio automatically during call. I tried it in my htc hd2 and works great!

Cheers
