I really like the touchwiz interface Samsung created. They did a really good job hiding windows.
At first I thought I would simply disable the touchwiz and go with spb mobile shell or something but I kinda like the UI.

They say it is fully customizable but I beg the difference. I really mis the function to add my own apps to the touchwiz. Just a shortcut like the newspaper widgets are.
I've looked everywere to find some custom made widgets but I only can find the SDK kit. Since I'm no developer I don't have a clue how to do create my own.

But since there is a SDK kit there surely must be a place to find and download the widgets. It seems the pixon and the I900 both have a download widget in the widget bar but it seems the touchwiz 2.0 on the B7610 doesn't have this widget. Has someone managed to get more widgets and if so where did you find them ?

Had mine repared because of a broken oled screen. They had replaced the screen and updated the software. Unfortunately mine hw keyboard is now recognised as a qwertz instead of a qwerty. Anyone knows a sollution for this :D

Thanks, it works great!

Btw. for your problem you can download advance config it has a function to change the keyboard layout along with 200 other tweaks. But be careful, you can really mess up the phone with the wrong tweaks.

Are any of these new widgets special enough to warrant reenabling Samsung Widgetplus though?

I'll say no, i prefer a lot more the imrpessive SPB mobile shell. that interface is really, really impressive, almost similar to samsung but far more complete, everythings works but their locking screen, direct access to start menu, press&vibrate, and their small compass support. (You can keep the samsung locking screen/start if you want, you even can keep both interface)

i do find 5 widgets now (wow ... so many *lol*)
even if there is nothing realy intressting for me ...
if i give it a try and download one ... i always get a error-message
shown up in the opera : 'invalid device'

but as long as there only 5 widgets available
i'm not realy sad about it :-)

Opnmarket is a tool from freewarepocketpc, it has nothing to do with widgets.
Tonight I upgraded my phone ! I found the official 6.5 update for French Sfr brand, widgets are way more complete now
