Hi all,

My I8000 version:
PDA I8000JUIK2
CSC I8000TURIK3
Phone I8000XXIK3

I messed up after I upgraded my phone tp VM6.5.Some features are not working properly. So I thought reloading VM6.5 will be the right thing to do. The problem I don't know which files I need and how to proceed.

When I googled for each version above, I found related files on rapidshare, but I don't know what to do with them.

guys, could you help me please?

I'm sorry if my post is irrelevant with the aim of the topic.
thanks for your help

You should find all the necessary information on flashing ROM procedure here: Guide to Flashing ROM on i8000 (link is also listed in the first post of this thread :( )

secany..

Either I'm blind, or a few files missing in your rapidshare folder.. PDA_i8000XXJA5.7z.001, PDA_i8000XXJA5.7z.002, and PDA_i8000XXJA5.7z.003 seem to be lost, only PDA_i8000XXJA5.7z.004 is listed. I've found rapidlinks elsewhere through google, but they complain of copywrite.. then redirect me to a rapid-movie download page :D

I'm guessing they didn't pull your file (unless samsung's upset.. firmware's copywrite laws), so if they're not linked elsewhere, would it be possible to re-upload? I read as your connection's slow, and I see that .001's 100mb's, so that's 300 between the 3.. painful if your connection's slow, but if you could re-upload, I'd be a very happy dude :)

cheers and thanks.....

Newbie Here,
Secany your rapid share link has a lot of files for i8000 WM6.5 ROM. Do we have to download all of them for this ROM? Please advise and help with some instructions. send links and details to alarms_wiz@yahoo.com please.

I'm new but I donate for the effort

You can find the latest ROMs at http://samsung-firmwares.com/i8000.htm. If you prefer Windows Mobile 6.5.3 before 6.5 chosse I8000NXXJE5 as this is the latest 6.5.3-ROM I know of.

I have a problem.Maybe i bricked my omnia 2.I took up an official wm 6.5 rom with the octans. After the upload the phone did not reboot.Just the octans says 'job done'Now i can not turn it on.If i plug in the usb cable, the phone does not show the charge pictures, just vibrating all the time.I can not take another rom.I took a lot of roms and it always worked.I don't know what happened now.I hope someone can help me!

Thank you!
