hi i was just wondering if there is anyway i can do this, as it is currently simlocked to vodafone and i want to use on the o2 network, also will this effect my 3g and wireless or not.

Rule out the free unlocking for X1 cuz it won't happen in the near future.

Have you tried another sim card in it yet?
Usually it's simlocking not the phonelocking...
Or you can try here: http://www.htccode.com/, but you have to pay for the unlocking code.
