If you've heard about Acers upcoming F1 handset featuring the 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU (Qualcomm 8520), 3.8" WVGA display, Windows Mobile 6.5, and a 5 megapixel camera, then now is the time to become inquisitive.

The full specs are:

Qualcomm 8250, 1Ghz cpu
512mb rom/256mb ram
Windows mobile 6.5 professional
3.8" WVGA 480×800 resolution, 262k color support, resistive panel
bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Wifi 802.11b/g
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS 900/1900/2100
5 megapixel camera, auto-focus, flash
MicroSDHC support
1350mAh battery
118.6mm X 63mm x 12mm
130g with battery

The manual for the device has landed on Acer's site, suggesting an imminent release...

The picture show is the "standard" windows mobile 6.5 today screen plugin. Page 16 of the user manual would seem to suggest that they've gone with a simple program launcher for the home screen though. Skimming through the rest it looks like Acer have made a minimal atempt to reskin the OS, but nowhere near the level that is showing up in some of the leaked HTC ROMS showing up now.

I was honestly thinking about getting this phone when it released, but then new renders of the HTC Leo started to surface. Supposedly, it gonna have a 4.3 capacitive screen and a snapdragon processor. If the images of the Leo are true then i'll wait, if not I'll probably buy this depending on price.
