Hi there,

I recently installed Skyfire after reading great things about it's speed in rendering web pages...for me though it isn't that great. It seems very slow in displaying a complete web page and most of the time does not fully load.
I have to say the same about the version of Opera that came with the Omnia...I've even tried the newest beta version of Opera but that too is quite slow.
The best of the lot seems to be Internet Explorer which renders the web pages in half the time of both Skyfire or Opera.

Has anyone else encountered these problems when using these mobile browsers?? Is there any configuration I need for Skyfire or Opera to make then function faster?? I know IE is regarded as the worst of the bunch but for me seems to work the fastest.

I'd be grateful for any opinions you have to share.

Thanks ;)

Try to get into an area with better service, or use WiFi, or of course everything is going to load slowly..

Buy me a drink if I helped you out. :)

maybe i havent been payin much attention but load times in opera/IE have seemed pretty similar. However, i have had the problems where sometimes once i click a certain link, the entire web page will be blank. not sure why this happens. maybe someone else can enlighten me.

Necosino, if you dont mind my asking, which Beta, the 9.5 or the 9.7? If its the 9.7, do you use the Opera Turbo on it?

I use 9.7, and have tried turbo on and off but didn't notice a difference.

I can't log into Bank of America on Opera (both 9.5 and the beta). Skyfire gets all the way up to the password screen but won't let me enter a password. So far, I let IE handle most of my web browsing.
