I was trying to load CC20 with UMDL 2.3. The UMDL gets to Download image 100%. Then it just stops - no error message.

This is the log:

This is what the phone looks like - a picture of an orange triangle with an exclamation point in it over an outline of a phone. And just one line of the green progress bar.

Additional info: If i press the little reset button on top then hold down the 2 buttons to format - it will slowly load up and boot into the phone. But obviously something didn't go right.

I had been following instructions from here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i910-specifi...m-verizon-i910/

any ideas?

Agreed. Say that you did a hard reset and now that's all that happens.. DO NOT MENTION "Custom ROM" or "CC20" or anything like that!! They'll say too bad, you voided your warranty, and make you pay $50!

Buy me a drink if I helped you out. :)

I got the impression that it still boots with a hard reset.

I had directions on how to fix this with an i900 somewhere, let me see if it applies to the i910.

Be back once I find it ;)

Maybe similar to the Incorrect version" error that they can get? I'm not too familiar with i900 ROMs or flashing...

Nah its a flash gone bad.

Here is what you can try--as we dont have another full rom to try.

First, load the cc20 rom.

Then uncheck all sections, except eboot.

Flash it. See what happens.

Then reset umdl, uncheck all sections, except phone.

Flash it, See what happens.

I have some other possible options, but they are not for the public eye, so to speak. So PM me and let me know what your results are.
