Im also new to this forum but hv used 2 roms both of sector's but the latest one 21820 (lite) based on DXID1 is the best (http://www.modaco.co...esearch-thread/)

I have Samsung i900 256MB ROM, 128MB Ram

But Im also confused abt few questions
1. Which pagepool shld be the best for my phone 4mb,8mb,12mb,16mb etc.... im always confused bef downloading a rom.
2. Should I also flash my phone rom to DXDID1 as nobody is providing it here.
(I've already done so, but jus askin do u recommend it?)
3. The new roms being released every week. Should we upgrade it everytime.
4. when we're going to get a final stable build of windows 6.5 from Samsung OR from this forum (cooked)

Thanks...

I was using a lot of WM 6.5 roms - there are faster than 6.1, but fastest rom i ever had is Khuanchai ROM - this is great ROM for everyone. Last version has 4MB pagepool.

hi Edge330, first and foremost, welcome! Ok, now let's go straight to the point: can you please rename your thread? for the reasons below:

there's no good and bad rom, only roms that fit your needs and roms which don't
there are no gfood cook and bad cook, just different cooks

when you give a thread such a title, it's a lack of respect for all cooks, because you could have 1 person saying that this cook cooks the best roms, and if it happens to all cooks, at least 1 time all except one are not the best, which I find deeply insulting, giving the work and effort ALL of them put in cooking the roms we're addict to (again thanks, dear chefs :) ). So what could be a nice and respectful title is, for example: "which rom do you use and why? Help needed to choose one".
Advantages: you will have a selection of the available roms, and most important, what makes them different, then you can analyse the answers to make a choice, but this will not spare you the essential, what we almost all did: try and find by yourself what fits best your needs (you might need to identify them first :D ). To help you, here is a tip:

winmo 6.1 is less finger friendly than winmo 6.5, but you still can't use the finger mouse on winmo 6.5, which you almost don't need anymore anyway. Personaly, I'm using winmo 6.5 light or ultralite roms (stripped from almost everything thus allowing you to install your fav apps without having apps you don't need or want).

Good luck

I also recommend Khunchai ROM, try 6 or 8 ppc as the 12 could cause some program to crash but not that bad. If u dont have many prog also can go with 12 ppc, very fast.

Yeah i am also curious about the pagepool thing...

Also i think the best rom with winmo 6.5 is the Khunchai roms...

But he releases a new rom everyday! It is hard to keep up with it.

I am planning to install the latest one ;)

I'm thinking of moving from WM 6.1 to WM 6.5. Do I just need to install any rom based on WM 6.5 to upgrade (such as Khuncha)?
