since i installed s2u2 ver 2.01, i have been having trouble with the hard end key, it doesnt work sometimes, make no sound when pressed on the today screen or when disconnecting voice calls. only a soft reset resolves the issue momentarily..... then after some time the same thing again, it doesnt work at all and only a soft reset again and all comes to normal.
since then i uninstalled s2u2 and during the unistall process it gave me an error in gwes.exe. softreset and deleted all the files and registry entries related to s2u2 ans did a soft reset,, but still the issue with the hard end key persists.just after a soft reset it work ok, then after some hours, without even touching the device, the key just doesnt work at all.
in the settings, i set to to lock upon long press....
anyone having the same issue or similar problems?
forgot to mention that before installing s2u2, never had such issues.

yep, sure have. although i don't remember mine starting with s2u2.

my end key sometimes will end the call, and sometimes it won't. usually if i wake the phone up with the power button, then the end key will work. sadly, i've had to curtail my habit of calling people nasty names immediately after hanging up.

s2u2 has since been uninstalled for other bad behavior. end button behavior persists, but, like i said, i seem to remember it starting before i install s2u2.

The problem is with ilock (one of the S2U2 components). There is a discussion about it here:

http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-2-02-problems/

Follow the link in the discussion and download the replacement ilock from V1.64. Appaently this fixes the problem

this issue doesnt come with the s2u2 app, it is still present even after uninstalling s2u2.
anyone has a fix for this? its quite annoying actually when u can hang up calls when u really want to or are in a hurry.

That would change your habit fairly quickly I would think... :-)
