Yeah, I figured. I just wasn't sure what an i190 is. I know I don't have one. ;)

Heh heh, Thanks BW..

I want to ruffle up some feathers now and get people up in arms against Big Red again, even if its just phone calls, so they know they can't continue to break their promises and withhold needed updates.. :D

Buy me a drink if I helped you out. :)

Yeah, since I'm sure you (chefs) would love a new base ROM to work with, especially since it had been promised to you and since other phones have had their updates released, why not the Omnia's? Why shouldn't we be a little peeved about it? Why shouldn't we be calling, asking questions, letting our frustrations be known?

Buy me a drink if I helped you out. :)

or roms are are light years beyond what any firmware upgrade they will provide, i mean do you really want to go back to 6.1.

So let's just say that Verizon does, in fact, release an official ROM upgrade. Would we be able to install it and then flash to your guys' WM 6.5 ROMs from the official upgrade?.. Or would that most certainly brick the phone?...

I kinda agree with necosino.

Thanks to you guys I really have no need for the official update from VZW and IMHO what you chefs have cooked up will probably be better than anything they release, but if we don't get enough people to make a stink about it they'll continue to screw people.

That's not like them to post something a week late. I guess our phones get overshadowed by the iphone pre suckers.

I would still like to see what it brings to the table. I just flashed from Wozzers 6.1 M2D to your 6.5 Vanilla rom and am liking it alot. Can't see where they would give us anything that would top what we have now(they could if they wanted too). I would just like to have access to an official rom just in case I needed to take my Omnia in for some hardware problem or something. At least they couldn't blame it on the cooked rom

Engadget is run by apple ass kissers.

They also hold on to "news" for a while incase they have a light day so they can fill their pages.
