hi friends...
i m using official DXIA5 rom for my omnia
i normally use today2 as default
but in touchwiz mode (or you can say online widgets mode) there are some useful widgets like accuweather, yahoo finance and cnn online news.
is there any way to convert .wgt file to simple .exe file, so that i can easily access it from program menu or from any other
i just need default application (like when we click on widget and it start the main apllication ) not any widget display...
and yes these applications in default omnia skin which i like more :D
so is it possible ???
thanks

To my knowledge, the widget interface is based of Flash of some sort, so converting it wouldn't be possible. You could search for similar programs, or for things like CNN news and weather, you could simply make a shortcut to launch your web browser and immediately go to that specific page.

I do believe that the wgt file is just a renamed zip. and the widget is mainly xml. check samsung-omnia.org for widget info.
