Hello,

I have an Orange branded Omnia and I was wondering the best method of unbranding it, the version number is BVHH1_HJ2. I have seen other threads but not one where someone has unbranded with this being the original version.

Thanks,

Andy

Well if you're talking software wise, installing a cooked rom will remove all the logos etc. Make sure you've backed everything up first and read up on it properly.

Hi Andy,

Have a look over at Samsung-Omnia.org:

http://www.samsung-omnia.org/rom-discussio...bvhh1-to-mshj1/

I followed these instructions a few months ago without any problems and haven't looked back since.

I'm now considering a cooked WM6.5 ROM - but still not convinced!

Personally I'd go for a WM6.1 ROM, which is what I use right now. WM6.5 for me was a lot slower but I'm going to give it another try later. However it does have a few more features, so it's mainly a personal thing I suppose. Good luck whatever you choose!
