You have to tell us what happens with your phone now. Maybe there is a way that it can be fixed if it's not totaly bricked.

Well, if you hookup your phone to your win xp machine and start a flash program to install the rom you want. One of the i900 custom roms that is. And start normal flashing procedures, i.e. reset your phone. Does the flash application enable the start button so that you can start flashing.

If not, perhaps the i910 has a different set of xp drivers that one needs to use.

I hope this will get the discussion rolling to get a solution for this issue.

du kannst eigentlich ein custom ROM drüber flashen denn dort gibt es keine versionsabfrage.

hast du denn schon probiert einfach ein i900 ROM (nicht offiziell) zu flashen?

Hi...

danke für die vielen Antworten
hier spricht man also auch deutsch ?!

Oh, I'm sorry.

I cannot use the phone with this rom and it denies the battery.
"NOT SUPPORTED BATTERY! SEE USER MANUAL"
I tested the roms i have...the message i got every time was "Checksum failed"...
as you can see on the photos i posted before:

The i900 hard-reset is not available....i910 hard-reset works not correctly.

I am from Australia and had flashed my phone with a i910 version of the wm6.5 and everything you listed here was what happened to me too!

Not supported battery see user manual, no hard reset, no phone, no verizon as in Oz we only have Optus.
When I tried to reflash back I get the Checksum thing too!

At first I thought I had officially brick my phone for the first time.

Until I did a lot of reading and more reading, then I did this:

1) Download the right i900 rom off this board, currently using the light DXIA5 rom.
http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...is-165-mb-only/
2) Download window xp phone driver, found somewhere on this forum, install xp driver on an xp cpu
3) Download and follow the "Flash back my phone" or something tutorial on this forum, it has I900_FLASHBACK_MADE_BY_AWSOM_.rar file for me to download with a pretty clear explanation which I followed step by step except I unpack the DXIA5.exe instead.

Now my phone is back to the DXIA5 with Online widget. Has not crashed at all.

Good luck, I hope this helped, I felt terrible too. But I think you will be ok if you follow the steps.

I think it might be a good and nice karma thing for Rom developers out there to put in big bold letters on the top of their download page "THIS IS AN I910 VERIZON/ USA VERSION DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE USING I900 AND OUTSIDE OF USA AS IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE" Yes I am sorta like a newbie but really when I had this issue I discovered that lots and lots of people around the world had the same problem.

You already have that.

You have a i900 and i910 sections. All the roms are in their apropriate sections.
