Hi..i got my i900 omnia a few days ago from Abu Dhabi and am currently now in india...my battery life is miserable barely lasts me a day.......it doesnt even beep to warn me abt the low battery and just dies. i have to plug the charger in again to start it up. Many a time the battery percentage it shows me when i go to settings is absolutely wrong cos even after it says 80% it just dies after 2- 3 hrs. Ive turned everything off and turned the backlight to minimum. The phone i got was arabic when i started out and i managed to change the language to english...my version is
PDA: i900JPID1/JPID1
Phone: i900JVIC3

Will changing the rom help me with my battery life? Also i found out that JP is an arabic rom...samsung has released a new rom for the UAE JVHK1 which people say improves the battery life. I have downloaded the rom update from samsungs website. Will i be able to follow their instructions and update it without a glitch cos they say that the rom is customized for each type of phone or something? Im really scared of bricking my phone cos theres no proper service center arnd for 100s of kilometers.

I really have no other issues than this battery problem..
Please help me sort this nonsense out...
Thanx
