Hello, I have The omnia i900. Im in the US The phone works fine on at&t. I Use the Edge network. I believe Not, But Is there anyway I cant make it work on the 3g network? the phone is 3g

The i900 specs only shows 2100 as its supported 3G data network frequency. I don't believe AT&T supports 2100, only 1900 and lower, so HSDPA, but not HSPA+. They have devices that support 2100, but i believe its only for use overseas. Thats just a guess based on some things i've seen, but i'd assume that would be why, as AT&T lacks support of HSPDA 2100 (HSPA+.)

Too bad. cant get anything like the omnia That will work with 3G. at&t needs to Grab some More High end samsung windows mobile Phones.

This was recognized as a "problem" many months ago when grey market Omnias were sold to US people (me too). There are quite a number of comments in older threads on this. There has been no additional news lately, so no active threads in the current lists. To learn more about the story/news from the older threads, do a search. There is some very interesting reading and various conclusions/guesses.

PS- I see from your post count you are a newbi here. A newbie tip > if you don't see your subject in an active thread, so a search. This is a very large database here and the Omnia has been out almost a year now. There is a lot of info/history here if you spend the effort to dig it out.
