INSTRUCTIONS

1. How To Flash Omnia (click it & read it), Download ROM, extract part 1.

2. Let Omnia reboot at Robot screen, you know when. After the reboot, Do the Operator Stuff and then let UC start running before you start tweaking, then do the next Step, UC will do what it needs to do. Link HERE again

"What the XDA UC service does, is silently install (or not so silently if needed by User), .cab, .xdas, .xml, .reg, .mscr, copy over user files, install files from SDconfig.txt (placed on your SDCard) if wanted and then a few extra's for the freaks like copying folders or creating shortcuts from specific registries. This happens right after first boot in this instance." (edits to Noonski by shokka9)

3. Goto Settings, connections, operator...change to operator that is NOT yours. Leave for 30 secs. Then change back to your operator. Leave for 30 secs. Good to GO
This is a given really on any ROM, just to ensure you have the right connectivity settings . Also Tick the box, in Browser Connection to automatically detect settings.

4. SOFT RESET OMNIA!!

To enable the i8000 dialer

Use Advanced Config;
goto - phone>skin>Enabled

Or a Registry editor to do this;
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin]
"Enabled"=dword:00000001"

This will give you easy access to KraZy Radds Call Log & Contacts apps. To video call from this dialler, tap menu, and tap the top chinese word see picture below (i know... Chinese?? ), et voila!

Optional for changing Titanium Layout
To ADD PANELS IN TITANIUM; FIRST INSTALL THE RELEVANT CABs, THEN USE CHome Editor...

Please install CHome Editor or similar to remove all panels u dont use or to add panels also in Titanium, save on RAM!!

Remember to install relevant APPS/CABs before trying to add the PANELS.

To GET STANDARD TASK BAR BACK INSTALL THIS for 23017
TO REMOVE GTR4 TASKBAR in 23064, see cab attached.
TO GO BACK TO STANDARD BlueTooth Notifyer ICON, see cab attached

I have been using sector rom 21198 for two days and seem to me NO PROBLEMS at all BUT its without M2D and for that reson iam waiting for ur ROM

Just one issue that i faced in UR previous rom 21193 that i cant send any MMS masg any more !!!!

I hope this one will be fine after testing

1) NO Black theme bro...(screen 1)

2) I need SSMAPA or SSMAHO cab if ya got (cant get the cab from XDA)

3) I cant get the battery out of the screen (I'm using SPS pocket plus battery and dont need the other one) (screen 2)

Some little issues here on 21198, battery icon seems a bit of a problem, kinda fixed it, but now the 'OK' & 'X' that sits in the top right corner are now a little smaller than usual. Thats it really.

Download Instructions & Installation(PLEASE READ)

1> Download all parts of the ROM. Extract part 1 only, it will extract the other parts.
When it has extracted the ROM, install as usual.

2> When you get the ROBOT/WM6.5 screen wait for it to reboot. When it reboots it will default to Windows default home today screen. You should now be able to get your MMS etc working as below.

3> To get your MMS & Internet settings; goto Settings, Connections, Operator; select different operator to yours (any). Wait 25 secs, then goto connection settings, operator settings and select your proper operator. Your net, MMS, SMS settings will now be active. PLEASE READ: THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!

4> To set up the black theme, change in Settings\system\today. Also you can deselect the Windows today and use M2D by selecting in the items menu. Use Classic Blue theme.

5> To get the honeycomb menu as in the pics, disable the Large menu in Settings\system\large display

6> Install Google YouTube, download attached cab and install to device memory.

7> Soft Reset after this....or after some other tweaking

Shokka - Best ROM I had on my Omnia so far!

I'd like to make a report of problems i've found so far in version 21193

1. Hexagon Start menu stops working after a while - solved only by restart. I turned it off.
2. Couldn't find where to set MMS
3. When X is pressed, battery next to X is highlighted (using Vera Theme)
4. Changing phone number type in omnia dialer does not work (each contact has W, M, H and so on, pressing right or left does not change it. when I move up or down it is shown as changed).
5. Start menu slow to open.

That's it for now...

Will stick with this till I see a makor upgrade
