my i-mate sp5 which has worked fine for a few years is suddenly, recently, randomly turning off for no reason and I cant get it turn back on until i plug it into a pc. when i'm trying to turn it on, it makes it to the first imate screen and then it goes off. it's a bit like the battery has suddenly run out, cos it sometimes flashes a red light on the top but last time this happened, just before on my way home, plugged into my pc now, the battery meter is showing 40ish % charge. could the battery be fked and windows confused? or something else wrong?
(tried a hard reset but that hasnt helped)
