Normally I would just leave this in the bargain section of the site but as this is such a good deal it needed posting on the front page!

Check the link to see how you can get this great deal but to sum it up quickly you can get the new Touch HD on Orange for the total cost of ownership of £330.96 or £27.58 a month.

And of course don't forget to keep checking the bargains section. If you have missed it recently there have been some other great bargains, and even a chance to get FREE SAT NAV SOFTWARE for your Pocket PC.

Oh yea, click here to see how to get this bargain

Cheers

Are the Orange phones SIM locked? Someone mentioned they were being released with operator firmware and I had feeling Orange released one (Omnia? Diamond?) not SIM locked recently.

But Orange are useless???

Who wants a Touch HD with an operator who charges £7.50 for 250mb. Can get twice as much with Voda or 4x with T-Mob.

Think you missed the point here, it is cheaper overall to buy it that way than to get it offline. And in the deal you got a few minutes to call and text as well.

Granted Orange are rubbish, or at least they were, and their data tarrifs suck. But if you got this deal and subsequently paid for an unlock the phone itself is still cheap!

I'm on Orange and I've just got a Touch HD and as part of my loyalty reward I've been given free (mobile) internet.
Got the handset for 50 notes or so which the guy immediately refunded to me in the form of credit on my next bill
Also got my line rental down to 20 notes for dolphin 35 (500 mins and 500 texts).
Not a bad deal.
Now if I could just get the dman phone to talk to my home network.....................

Orange seem pretty 'generous' to existing users for these - I got 850 mins + 500 texts for £25/month, plus free internet and they refunded me £15 MORE than I had to 'pay' for the device...! Don't only look at the ad's, since they seem prepared to give away a lot more than they advertise once you press them for it...

Howdy,

can one of you guys/gals who have bought one check to see if the handset is locked to O or not please?

If it is unlocked then this is a billy bargain... if it is locked, can people advise as to what the process would be to getting this unlocked please?

I left O earlier this year as they screwed me on data charges (charged me £1700 for data when I was on the Orange world Unlimited deal!!!) which kind of killed it for me. Now on 3 and not had any problems at all...

Thanks in advance

Saif
