Hi Guys,

Anyone have any workaround to resolve this issue where the phone app switches to Potrait whenever a call is started in landscape.

Paul: Since u're able to workaround the lock screen in a call... any work around u can do for this?

I'm currently on Hi3 everything else is fine

Yeah both lock screen and autoswitch to potrait when incoming call really sick especially when you already put the screen in landscape mode for GPS while driving.

Aside the workaround, aint the phone comes with proximity sensor to lock the screen only when things (like human's cheek) near the phone to avoid contact to the touchscreen? And not automatically lock the screen everytime there is incoming call. I mean if the phone connected to audio jack or bluetooth headset, why still the screen lock automatically? this is really a bug!

I think the workaround should enable the lock screen to work with the proximity sensor, not permanently disable it. and of course disable the autoswitch to potrait when incoming call too.

here you go...

doesn't need any cab installer, just change 1 registry value will do.

change HKLM\Security\Phone\Samsung
ForceOrientationDuringCall -> change from 1 to 0 (hex)
