And if you install those games you'll find that they all need on a SDK HTC accelometer.  making them unplayable

hello people of the forum.
I would like to know if they know games programs or applications that make use of the acelerometro of the samsung omnia. Thank you.

Hi Loquillo

Well I have found myself addicted to the invaders game that you can download on the omnia, the suduko game isn't bad either. The only games I wasnt able to use were Guitar Hero 3 and Da-Glom & I really wanted the guitar hero too.

Just go to getting started in your apps - click on ringtones, and click on there html site. at the bottom,

You will need a windows login ID to continue, once you have set one up. Just go to games and download from there, save it and then save your cab file.

Nice accelometer dice games dedicated to Omnia, demo at youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cp0O5blHIQ...feature=related

Probably these games were included in other language ROM on Omnia.

Hi Sire1980,

Were you able to make the invaders game work on your omnia?

Can you link to the one you are using?

Thanks!

Hi,
Has anyone been able have any success with running Finalburn on the Omnia? When I load a game usually half the screen is cut off, the picture isn't centered, and you can't choose display in landscape mode.

any help is appreciated,

Hi Warnold007

The Invaders game works fine. If you go to start>programs>getting started>Click on either Set Back Ground or ringtone an click on windows mobile owners circle it will take you a list of games, ringtones, themes that you can download. You can either use the trial version of Invaders or pay $5.99 for it.

When you click on games and choose Invaders, just click on touch screen and you can then download it.

I have played the trial version a lot of times and I am considering payingfor the full game.

I hope this helps.

is there anobody who could try this game for Diamond: http://www.pocketmax...hp?topic=6380.0 (last version download is here: http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?act....0;attach=3331)
the author is ready to modify game:

Currently it is only for the Diamond - from layout.
If it works on the Omnia I would consider modifying the graphics to fir the 240 x 400 device as well

Does it actually work (same Tilt API) even though image is too large?

As I hope, I will have my Omnia in two days so I cannot try it now ;)

Hallo 200mpx,

Lunar Tilt does not work. It says "Unable to load Sensor DLL". When checking the windows directory I'm findaing a "accsensor.dll". Might be the same thing but....

If the programmer could change his program to point to accsensor.dll it might work???

Sorry - won't work on the Omnia - it doesn't export the same API (HTCSensorOpen, HTCSensorClose, HTCSensorGetDataOutput) or the events
Somebody will need to crack the sensor support API first before 3rd party developers can add new games to Omnia

http://speleomaniac.net/SensorTest.exe - "Keep the ball in the middle" game. actually not a game but shows how i managed to read the tilt sensor values of Omnia.
http://speleomaniac....TCSensorSDK.dll - dll for emulating HTC apis. lacks events and so. don't expect it to run HTC games and apps yet ;)

soucre code of both can be found here: http://speleomaniac.net/sensor.zip

Attached is my "Bouncing Ball" game(!) for SGH-i900

Switch to portrait mode and turn off auto-orientation before starting the program. Put the phone on the table and select "Sensor->Calibrate" if you want some basic auto-calibration, or just hit "Sensor->Turn On" to start the "game" ;) .

When the ball lays still on the right wall or on the bottom, the ball will continue jumping, but this is not a bug, it's a feature i'm too lazy to change :( .

Have fun tilting and swinging your Omnia around.

That's excellent, wondering if you can do something similar to what they have done for the Diamond.

And a short video of it in action here

Like the work I've done for you?

Then I would really appreciate it if you could help me out.

It will encourage me further and of course produce better work.

there is a link to the source code how to get the sensor working in my first post. Actually you don't need any dll's for accessing the sensor. Some DeviceIoControl calls will do the job.

since i'm away from my home computer i'll post the BouncingBall source after a few days. (Visual Studio 2008 C++ Project).
