Here's a nice little application I came across earlier today (that's just been updated), Speed Software SmartReg.

Rather than being 'just another registry editor', SmartReg has some unique selling points! In their own words...

SmartReg

The professional Windows Mobile registry editor. Does everything you would expect of a standard registry editor.

PLUS:

* Complete historical change log - Records all changes you make to the registry using SmartReg and allows you to undo or redo those changes days, weeks or even months later!
* Comprehensive undo/redo facility for all operations.
* Powerful Find All facility, optionally using regular expressions

Forgotten that registry change you made last week that you really wish you'd never made? Not a problem with SmartReg. Simply look in the change history list, view the change and then undo it!

Contains the following features:

* Two pane view. In the top pane all keys are shown. In the bottom pane are listed values for the selected key. The left soft-key switches between key and value panes.
* Create, edit, rename and delete both keys and values.
* Support for String, DWord, Binary, Multi-String and Expandable String value types.
* Full Cut, Copy and Paste support for both values and keys. Will copy and paste a full sub-key structure, including all values at each sub-key level.
* Powerful search facility. Find strings in key names, value names and data. Case-sensitive and whole string only options.
* Store frequently used keys in the favourites list for quick access
* Menu options for Parent Key, Root Key, First Sibling and Last Sibling. Allows quick navigation through the key heirarchy.
* Change text size. Make it larger for easier viewing, or smaller to maximise screen usage.
* Import and export data in windows RegEdit format.
* Undo and Redo all registry changes.
* Enter DWord values in decimal, hexadecimal or binary.
* Easily add and modify binary values using the powerful binary editor. Edit other value types as raw binary data.
* Show keys pane only or values pane only.
* Show or hide value column headings.

SmartReg works on any Smartphone running Windows Mobile 2003 SE, WM5 or WM6. Supports all current screen resolutions and modes.

SmartReg will set you back $15.95 from Smartphone.net, and a 14 day trial is also available. Incidentally, SmartReg is developed in Devon (UK). :D

If like me you're rather serious about your reg tweaking, give it a try :(

In that respect and fully loaded with additional options I think this is the best registry editor around.
