HTC? Yawn. Boring, unimaginative. I seriously doubt they will have ANYTHING interesting.

maybe if they launched a new device with a self proclaimed 'Bible', that would get your interest...

Out of interest, which devices currently qualify in your opinion as interesting/imaginative.

i don't think it's a WinMo device, instead it would be a Google Phone, running Android.

What would be awesome would be:

1. They bring out a sleek windows mobile phone. pref with a slim line keyboard, and touchscreen. And promise that it will be android compatible when its realeased. That way we can guarantee future compatibility.....

Bonus points for 4 meg camera and xenon flash.

Perhaps it's some kind of reasonable customer support for their existing products?

No, just kidding. They couldn't be that innovative.

Could it be linked to the Google phone (Android I think it was known as or still is!) ?

Something with
- DVB-H/T and/or MediaFLO and/or T/S-DMB (that is, digital TV; FM would be a plus)
- 3D hardware acceleration
- call recording capabilities
- loud, stereo speakers with built-in stereo enhancer better than SRS (see Nokia N95)
- a decent camera (at least a N95/N82-alike)
- good game controlling capabilities (nice D-pad; also see the touchscreen bug later)
- a new(ish), decent chipset (OMAP 3 / Samsung 6430 would be just GREAT! But I can put up even with the 520 MHz Qualcomm 7200, assuming they get the decent drivers)
- at last a full MIDlet manager implementation - hardware 3D support, BT etc, just like on the N95/N82
- VGA or WVGA
- no touchscreen CPU usage problems (unlike ALL of HTC's current, non-Xscale-based models).

That is,
- a decent upgrade to the HTC Universal and
- everything HTC does NOT currently offer :D

Hmmm - how do we get an invite? looking to the future, I guess I'll need something to replace my Athena (although with AP4.0 due out it'll keep me going for some time) Not seen anything with such a good screen on the horizon.

He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

That's exactly what they will announce and market. What you get in the box will be broken and have little or no support and when you complain you will be told you can buy the next generation when it comes out instead. Can't see me buying HTC again (can you tell?)

Why are HTC following the crappy Apple style, secrecy marketing plan ?? They don't have the brand power or the loyal fanbase, to pull it off effectively like Apple do !!

What is so terrible about being open and giving people a Roadmap ??

Perfect Device = Samsung M8920 with WinMo7 plus FM & TV Tuners !!
