- Google Maps (Ref Link)
- ThumbCal (Ref Link)
- PowerRadio (Ref Link)
- Skyfire (Ref Link)
Plus, those which are labelled 'Version Check Failed' should provide a function to auto install the latest version,
because most of unrecognized versions are extremely outdated version even unable to provide a version number

I try to add my application to AppToDate.
I get an exception when I run AppToDate:
Number of downloads: 41
My XML file looks like this:
Quote
<name>My Shopping List</name>
<version>1.6</version>
<description>Shopping List application by Amir Deutel</description>
<versionurl>http://sites.google.com/site/amirswinc/home/download/ShoppingList.xml?attredirects=0&d=1</versionurl>
<caburl>http://sites.google.com/site/amirswinc/home/download/ShoppingList-V1.5.CAB?attredirects=0&d=1</caburl>
</application>
I also tried to add to the file header the line "<?xml version="1.0"?>", but that didnt help.
Any idea what I did wrong?
Thanks

I think you're misunderstanding what AppToDate does... the software will check other apps ONLY if the developer of that app adds some logic. So the developers of Google Maps, ThumbCal, etc. need to comply with what AppToDate offers before those apps show up on the AppToDate list.

Please note that my new application Pocket Pano Viewer support AppToDate.
More information here (in french, sorry) :

Can admin add it to the list of supported apps in post #1 ?
Thanx for reading.
Olivier.

Be sure when saving with your xml with notepad that you are in UTF8 code, and not unicode or other.
Olivier.
