Paul (MVP) and I are proud to announce the release of WinMo Week Six!

Sharing our views, activities and the news in this weeks Windows Mobile world.

In this weeks ~50 minute show, we talk about:
  • MWg Atom Life
  • T-Mobile News
  • Danger Acquisition
  • i-mate / Telstra
  • Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1
  • MDA Compact IV
  • Samsung i200
  • HTC P3470
Since we have so much to talk about this week (due to me being unwell and MWC), we are producing the show in two parts, of which this is of course the first :)

As with all our shows, this episode is available in standard MP3 format or as an enhanced M4A format with chapters, images and links for use on an iPod or in iTunes. You can get the podcast in the following ways:

* Direct download from the downloads section of the site
* Via iTunes (search for MoDaCo!)
* Via RSS with enclosures - simply add http://feeds.feedbur...m/MoDaCoPodcast to the reader of your choice

Your feedback is really valuable and will tell us whether it is worth our while to continue running the podcasts! Do you listen? What do you like? What do you not like? Should we do them weekly or bi-weekly? Please leave your feedback in this topic, or on the phone in number (which you can also use for questions for the podcast). The Phone in number again is:

+44 1379 888 101

Enjoy! :D

PS: Sorry for mixing up MWC and MWg through out this episode! I think you all should get the idea though :D

Cool! Off to listen to it - I'm really interested in your opinion on, for example, the new i-mate lineup. (Mine is pretty much mixed and pretty far from enthusiastic: see http://www.modaco.com/content/Pocket-PC-Ge...-s-new-devices/ if interested.)

Good to know it wasn't just me to not being over-enthusiast about the new models :)

BTW, a guy has just posted this to XDA-Devs ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=17 ) concerning Telstra:

"I read on Whirlpool forums that Telstra Australia will be the first to get the 9502, but someone just posted this:

"Just spoke to my telstra contact and he confirmed the 9502 failed testing was due for release on the 10th of march he said it is likelty to be released on the 24th but that isn't confirmed yet.""

Heheh, to be honest i can't see them being that popular anyway? Both you and Paul have commented on the 9502's tiny keyboard, they ain't pretty and and they ain't small. Maybe if they're offered as a company handset to couriers or the like they could do ok...

Definitely! Also, you could give a try to video podcasts if you have something to review - just like All About Symbian does.

Just finished listening to the podcast: I see your opinion on the 9502/8502 is pretty much similar to mine. Good to know I'm not alone with my opinion of these models :D

Glad you enjoyed it :D Videocasts are already kinda covered by Paul's unboxing vids (kinda). No reason why we won't do specials in the future though...
