Resco Explorer, the awesome suite of tools (i'm loathed to just call it a file explorer!) for Smartphone has been updated to version '2007'!

Available from the Resco site for $19.95 (with a 14 day trial available), Resco Explorer features just about every function a serial tinkerer could need, including...

Resco said:

  • Windows Mobile 6.0 support
  • The FTP Explorer
  • RAR archives support (decompression)
  • QVGA and Landscape devices support
  • Multi-language user interface
  • Recycle Bin
  • Send files via Bluetooth
  • Quick Search feature
  • Send more files via IrDA (OBEX)
  • Format storage card(s)
  • System info in properties
  • Search file or text in file
  • File and folder copy, move, delete,...
  • Favorites — quick folder access
  • ZIP compression
  • Built-in viewer (text, jpg, png, bmp, gif...)
  • Registry editor (import/export/search)
  • File association
  • Strong file encryption
  • Encryption add-in for desktop PC
  • "Send To" add-in for desktop PC

As you can see, the feature set is quite remarkable - and with addition of must haves such as FTP support in this version, much more in line with it's sister application for Pocket PC (sadly, still no network share browsing).

That said, it's without a question one of my must have applications, so head on over and check it out! Once again, screenshots follow... ;)

I wonder if something is needed in the base OS for it to work really...
