Rhinstone, could you do me a favour, (if you haven't changed the default power settings) could you leave your phone unlocked and see if the screen switches off after the allotted minute. I'm trying to see if it was LiveSearch, SMart2Go, or Resco software that keep my display from switching off when it was not locked.

The screen does indeed switch off after 1 minute. Im not running SMart2Go or any Resco software. only other software I have is PHM Regedit. Was not sure if you wanted me to test this with LiveSearch running or turned off? It turns off either way.
Hope this helped you out.

Thanks. Yes, after just installing some software one of them altered the display settings so the screen would not turn off after 1 min. Now I know it's not LiveSearch.

Hi, first post (I think!) so go easy!
Just received my vox this morning .. excellent device I must say. Have installed most of the free and recommended apps, I tried this one .. Google Maps. Despite having a bluetooth'ed GPS paired, the application couldn't locate a GPS receiver. How did you get it to work??
Thanks, M.
