This is how to Hard Reset the C550 (HTC Hurricane)
Some info...
1. A hard reset will erase ALL data on your phone (\Storage). It re-writes everything on the phone so that you'll have a fresh one after. Backup important data before you proceed (Contacts, Programs etc)
2. You don’t have to press hard on the power button. If you do so, your phone will go into normal boot sequence. Timing is very important.
3. A hard reset will reactivate application lock on the C550 thus, you need to decertify your phone after the process.
4. A hard reset will NOT network-lock your device.
5. A hard reset will leave your currently-installed ROM intact.
