Still I suppose that really means July, which is cool cos my birthday is mid-July

What about dimensions?  Presumably it's going to be bigger than the C500, but by how much?

Ooh! I don't think it's that ugly. So, what OS is this meant to be running? Is it still smartphone with that screen rez?

really hope that they don't go to 18 bit (262k) screen  (lots of reason's I wont bore you with, but you'll be sorry if they go true 18bit as well - trust me)

and I wonder if they can manage to hide the 'stick any better? are they just trying to remove it bit by bit with each generation ?

Yup, I also find it a bit ugly. But I don't mind if it's got good features, including an 8 ways joystick.

Better looking than the C500 - kind of a hybrid between the C500 and SP3i.

Damn, that screen looks huge by proportion!

Device history: Nokia 5146, Nokia 3120, Nokia 7110 (x3), Nokia 6210 (x2), Ericsson T39, Ericsson T68, Sony Ericsson T68i, Orange SPV (x2), SPV E100 (x3), Nokia 6600 (x2), SPV C550, MDA Vario

And hence Orange getting rid of the stocks of the C500 on PAYG at the silly price of £120 to £150.

3G would be great.

It looks really cheap and horrible though. Maybe the final product will look better...

Fantastic news. Are those SDA Music style Play/Forward/Rewind buttons I see?

And Drblow: should be Smartphone as the increased screen resolution was announced for the Smartphone platform by Microsoft months ago, just no one's released one on the market yet.

Oh, and I'd be amazed if this DIDN'T have Windows Media Player 10. The reason Orange haven't made it available for C500 is probably to ensure when they do release a Smartphone with WMP10 that it's all the more attractive to new customers and upgrades alike!

I hope this has hot swappable mini SD!!

It looks like an upgraded feeler! with the media player buttons below the screen!!

What is the issue with 18k screens?

Yeah, thanks, but can you clarify?
Is that 90mm tall (top of screen to bottom of keypad), 47mm wide across the screen, and 25mm deep (front to back)?

That seems kinda "podgy" and "stumpy", and it's no wider than the C500

WHY dont they locate the play,pause/next/back on the top? I mean so you can change track even if you got ur smartphone in ur pocket! I mean why use play/next/back when u got the joysick 0.5 cm down?

Mobile Phone: Qtek 8010, 200 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 256 MB MINI-SD, Telia
GPS Mobile Phone: Motorola A925, 168 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 256 MB SD, Tre (Three)

Well about that symbian sh*t to motorola :) Tre (Three) was "giving" away phones at a cost of 67$, no more costs, thats it 67$ and no more. The best phone they had was motorla A925, so i bought it. I think i will use it as a GPS unit :) Becuse it have inbuilt GPS :)
