all you need to do is copy the cab file to
/ipsm/windows/start menu/ or /storage/windows/start menu/

then click on it from the programs menu

later

Cool App, and very useful, I have been using it alot. However I am not sure what all the figures mean i.e Fastest / Slowest / Average / Last / Current? Can you give me an explanation please.
Cheers,
Goatfaced.

ok, the magic numbers mean

fastest is the quickest time the phone has used 1% of battery (somewhere between 2 and 11 is normal)
slowest is the longest amount of time the battery has used 1% in (somewhere between 45 and 3 hours is average)
average is the average of the fastest, slowest current and last
and current/last is just what its doing at the moment, and what the last one was

When I downloaded the file it cam up as a Zip file on my PC.
Then I couldn't unzip it. What do I need to do to get the file to copy from my PC to my C500?

Thanks :D

its a .cab file, not a .zip file

copy the .cab file to:

mobile device/my smartphone / storage/ windows/start menu

then on the phone look in the menu, you will see the file. run it

Dear Beersoft.

I installed your app and found it to be excellent and very easy to use, however I have a question regarding the numbers. My phone is an SMT 5600 suposed to last 140 hours on stand by, but I get about 1 day.

The numbers I get are as follows:

Battery: 83%
Fastest: oh:2m
Slowest: 2h:14m
Average: 2h:22m
last: 0h:1m
current: 0h:19m
Time Left 1d:18h:3m
Time Running 7h:17m

Are them correct or is there a problem with my phone or battery?

Thanks

Hello!

How can it be?:

Battery: 71%
Fastest: 0d 0h 4m
Slowest 0d 3h 34m
Average: 0d 5h 31m ????
Last: 0d 0h 11m
Current: 0d 0h 15m
Time left: 5d 17h 26m ????
Time running: 0d 18h 25m

How can average value be bigger than slowest value? :) Can you give the way, how it calculates the average value?

But... graet soft anyway :D

TIA

Try turning off Bluetooth, that eats up a lot of battery.

This is a neat app. I assume the OS tracks the battery capacity, and simply reports to you the percentage. But does the OS keep track of the time between % readings, or do you have to track that?

It is interesting that if I never turn on the screen, it could last 12 days.
Has anyone written up how much current draw there is to doing different tasks? (IE: Screen on bright = 25 mA. Screen dim = 20 mA. Screen OFF and no program running = 1 mA, running DOOM = 50 mA, etc.) (Hey those were just examples NOT REAL DATA)

Once again bobby it is a cab file not a zip. ;)
Don't extract the archive move it to the start menu of your phone and click on it - it will extract itself and install - have a look at what Disco Stu said in the other threads you posted in. :D
