I intalled the Task version 1.43, but I can't get my task to show up on my home screen. Do I have to install ToDo in order to see this? The website does specify. thanks.

You don't have to install Oxios ToDo List, but you have to follow the good sequence:
1/ Install the Plugin,
2/ Install the compatible Home Screen,
3/ Activate the compatible Home Screen.

excellent app!

suggest ...
- inserting links to files (txt, html, etc.) that are stored on phone for easy launch
- default alarm time is 1 hr (configurable) from current instead of 8am
- right scroll (future, past, current, etc.) also include category (configurable)
- reminder alarm currently offers dismiss/snooze ... suggest allowing edit of time

great job guys.

also suggest ...

- inserting task links to SMS, Email, etc messages
- inserting task links to recorded messages or photos (could also be done as file since they are stored files)

cancel the suggestion about the right scroll doing the category because it seems the volume up and down already does that. oops

Where can I find a user guide of Oxios To Do List, without being forced to browse all the menus, in order to learn the program?
Thanks

I find that's usually the best way to learn how an app works and what the settings do ;)

You've tried their website http://www.oxios.com? (or more specifically http://www.oxios.com/tasks/settings.html)

A question on Oxios ToDo List
It seems that if I mark a task as completed, when I am sync with Outlook on the PC, it stays just a second marked, then disappears and I can't find it with with any views (even "all tasks" or "completed").
Instead I can correctly see through Outlook.
If I uncheck the task with Outlook, then I can see it again with Oxios as well.
What have I got to properly set, to not make completed tasks disappear when I am sync with Outlook (everything is fine if I don't sync)?
Where am I wrong?

One more question...is there any way to create sub-categories with Oxios ToDo List?

Many thanks for help

You should change the ActiveSync Options to "Synchronize all tasks":

birlest, although there's no subcategories you could 'simulate' by just suffixing your categories ... work, work - project1, work - project2, home, home - project1, home - project2.

probably not what you want but what the hey.

;)

Oxios, great great job on v5. here's a few suggestions for future upgrades ...

- since you run some validation rules on the end date why not just fix the problem instead of reporting it to the user. for example, if someone turns on the reminder and the due date is past, why not just default the due date to 'today plus x hr' (or something). because for the most part the user is checking it to reset the reminder. without this the user has to perform many more steps ... set due date to today, go to reminder, check reminder, scroll to reminder time, change hr/min/am/pm. sure there's the occasionaly time when the user checks the reminder by mistake but in those cases they can simple uncheck it and the due date reverts back (nice to have) or simple cancel the edit.

- wish there was an easy way to snooze the reminder for x more minutes/hrs like on the main menu where the user could select from 15 min, 30 mins, 45 mins, 1 hr, 2 hrs from now. taking this one step further and combining with other bullet above, allow this change even for overdue or future tasks so i can with minimal steps bring an overdue to next due or a future to next due.

- if the user presses the volume up in reminder or due date fields and the reminder time is less than now then make the time now plus x hr.

in all, great job esp on day selection these suggestions help with reminder time selections.

;)

When i am synced with outlook at work i edit my tasks and their reminders using my desktop pc (faster and easier). However when i edit reminder times using outlook the reminder time is not updated on the phone. Anyone else notice this or have i got some settings configured incorrectly?

It would be really nice to be able to edit reminder times through outlook so i can reschedule tasks using my pc.

Another suggestion ...

can you add a find feature?

perhaps like the smartphone phone book's find where as soon as you begin entering dates the phonebook starts to search for all contacts, incoming and outgoing calls.

I emailed Oxios, but they taking their sweet time answering.
