Heared they testing it with the mpx220, though only thing is that how do u test wifi for a smartphone, when there "are" :) no wifi smartphones out?

by smartphone i mean mpx220 c500 mitac 8390 ect...

"Z"

While some see them as the crazy ones,we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

You didn’t come here to make the choice. You’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it.

MPx220 is MiniSD.

Sorry ClintEastman, you were just slightly too slow ;-)

i heard motorola were testing wifi with the mpx100 before it was cancelled. That did have a regular slot.

That being said I think the only time we will see wifi in smartphones on sale (with the possible exception of the e200) will be in devices which have the hardware built in.

miniSD wifi cards are a long way away

Agreed.

We'll see fully integrated hardware, I have no doubt about that (as we are now in PPC with the Blue Angel).

What is that triangel in the last photo?! Never seen before in my phone. Is it the wlan? Eh then it is a bad design on that. Triangel = Wlan? Nah. What is it? I dont know! :(

When will we se goforce in HTC products?
When i get my phone with GoForce 3D 7000 Extrem-Edition-Extra-small-size-and-so-on:
1. I will get a watercooler to it
2. I will get RivaTunner Smartphone edition
3. I will clock it to a Geforce 6800
4. I will play my Doom 4 (yepp, thats right, IV)
*Was that offtopic?*

Mobile Phone: Qtek 8010, 200 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 256 MB MINI-SD, Telia
GPS Mobile Phone: Motorola A925, 168 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 256 MB SD, Tre (Three)

Well about that symbian sh*t to motorola :) Tre (Three) was "giving" away phones at a cost of 67$, no more costs, thats it 67$ and no more. The best phone they had was motorla A925, so i bought it. I think i will use it as a GPS unit :) Becuse it have inbuilt GPS :)

Errrr.... I think you will find that it's that next wave of hardware that will be running this software, as im sure as ever there will be no offical upgrade path for any of the current smartphone models. And of course none of them have WiFi or the new screen res (anybody know what is happening with the new res under 2005?).

So yes, I am infact waiting for the new wave of hardware. (thats the only way for us lesser mortals to get this software. :)

A trainge is something like a triangel which, I believe is something like a triangle :)

Windows Mobile is a core area of Microsoft and has been for a while. That means its just as important to MS as Windows and Office is... :)

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade my SPV C500 to this when it comes out?

  • Interests:The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.
