Interesting! Lets see how much information we can gather!
The E200 was originally called the C200 so i wonder if this is destined to be the E500?

Shape looks like the very first SPV. Hmm interesting, yet I would be 100% sure about capabilities before making a step.

Sun is shining, weather is sweet.

It looks flatter & wider from the pic.
So they're doing away with the joystick ?

  • Interests:The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

very cool...cant wait for the details.
I heard a rumor that it has a strong IR so it can be used as a TV remote. Can anyone confirm? :)

A contender for the MPX100?
Any chance of built in GPS, that would be a nice touch for Mapololis.

The joypad definately reminds me of the Intel reference design although when looking closely again its definately an original design.

well, yes, obviously, the intel ref design will never see the light of day, but was intended to show companies how ms smartphone devices could look/work, and i think htc have taken note, the intel ref design was very thin :)

I'm not saying it won't have that "Windows Image Start Button" but the screen is obviously a "mock-up" :?:

i think that's a screenshot of mid's phone photoshopped on isnt it?
(does that mean mid has wm2k3 se?)

I really don't like this design. The keys have gone back to being smaller again, what's that about, E200 keys are just right. And as for the d-pad! oh dear.

HTC should stick wifi/megapixel cam/win 2k3 se/400MHz xscale processor/more rom/9 way joystick/GPS/quad band/cdma/consumer IR port/mobile 3d gpu into its E200 design and improve the battery life.

I heard they fixed the bluetooth, now it cuts off mid call on ALL bluetooth headsets, not just the plantronics m3000 :)

Kevlar

( sorry to be negative, but the E200 has left a bad taste in my mouth! )
